This installation manual is intended specifically for the Defi-Link Meters. The company is not liable for any damages or injury due to improper installation of the Defi-Link Meters, including failure to follow the instructions provided herein and/or installation of the product on vehicles other than those listed herein as compatible with the Defi-Link Meters.

Prior to purchase, please refer to this manual to determine the compatibility of the Defi-Link Meters with your vehicle.

Please read the entire installation manual prior to commencing the installation process.

Please follow the instructions in this manual. The purpose of the manual is to provide you with all the information that you need to install the product.

In order to prevent an accident, which could result in personal injury, death or damage to the product or vehicle, please give special attention to the portions of this manual where the following symbols are used .

Please read the manual carefully where the words " WARNING" and " CAUTION" appear. Failure to do so may result in damage to the product or vehicle or personal injury.

BEFORE INSTALLATION
All instructions in this manual must be followed to insure safe installation and operation of the product.
The components of the product should be installed where they cannot fall or move and damage the vehicle or hinder driving.
NEVER dismantle or reassemble the product. This could cause damage to the product and make it unsafe to use. Tampering with the product renders the limited warranty void.
Before installation, please make sure that the engine is switched off and remove the key from the vehicle ignition.
Due to possible injury from contact with a hot engine or exhaust pipe, do not begin installation until the vehicle is cool.
Disconnect the negative ( - ) battery terminal. Failure to follow these steps may result in a short circuit or fire.
Before installation, please make sure that the engine is switched off and the vehicle is stationary.
Please take care while installing this product so you do not interfere with any connections or wires relating to seat belts, air bags or other safety devices.
When attaching wiring for this product, please take care so that the product's wires do not interfere with existing wires.
When attaching wiring, use the solderless connectors or inner/outer connections, and insulate all connections with electrical tape. Please insulate all connections in areas where wires will be in close proximity to engine parts or other wire.

This product is designed for use ONLY on vehicles with 12V electrical system. NEVER use the product on 24V vehicles.
Do not use wires other than the wire included with the product. If the wiring provided is insufficient, please purchase more wire of the same of quality and gauge.
Completely insulate any unused wires with electrical tape. If wires or connectors loosen during installation, please make sure they are correctly reattached.
Dropping any of the component of this product will result in damage to the product.
Do not apply excessive force to switches/terminals as such may result in damage to the product.
Do not attach wires to the body of the vehicle or engine parts as this may result in damage to the product.
Install the sensors away from heat and moisture to avoid damage to the product.
Install the sensors away from ignition and radio frequency interference as this could cause the gauges to malfunction.
Do not expose the control unit to moisture, dust or direct sunlight, or place product directly in front of or near heat vents.
If the negative battery terminal is disconnected, data stored in other instruments in the vehicle, such as clocks or radios, may be lost. Please remember to reset equipment according
to the original manufacturer's instructions after installation of the product.


REGARDING PRODUCT HANDLING

If the gauge has been exposed to moisture, or smoke or an unusual odor emitted from the unit in a situation where it does not operate, please switch off the unit immediately and contact us by e-mail. Continued use of the product under these circumstances could be unsafe or cause damage. Gauge pointer may not be in proper position when you purchased. Normal function will resume the position when power is connected.
TURBO(BOOST)/INTAKE MANIFOLD PRESSURE

To avoid damaging the hoses during pipe installation, use tie-wraps to secure the hoses to adjacent hose in the engine compartment.
OIL PRESSURE

To avoid oil leaks upon installing the sensors, wrap Teflon tape before installation. Before driving, inspect tubing, hoses and threads for leaks. Leaks could cause a fire or damage the engine.
OIL TEMPERATURE

To avoid oil leaks upon installing the sensors, wrap the threads of the sensor with Teflon tape. Before driving, inspect tubing, hoses and threads for leaks. Leaks could cause a fire or damage the engine.
WATER TEMPERATURE

To avoid water leaks upon installing the sensors, wrap the threads of the sensor with Teflon tape. Fix the T-joint and upper hose with a T-Bolt clamp. Inspect hose connections before driving.
FUEL PRESSURE

To avoid fuel leaks upon installing the sensors, wrap the threads of the sensor with Teflon tape.
Attach hose connection and fuel feed tubing with a T-Bolt clamp. Inspect tubing and hose connections for leaks before driving.
EXHAUST TEMPERATURE

To avoid personal injury, do not begin installation of instruments sensors or tubing while the engine is warm.


When drilling a hole to attach a sensor to the exhaust system, please make sure that no metal filings remain in the exhaust pipe.
TACHOMETER

When connecting wiring, please insulate connectors with electrical tape to prevent them from being exposed to moisture. Please connect the 12V cable to the power wiring. This will ensure that the ignition is on when connecting the Control unit.
