TROUBLE SHOOTING

CONDITION
|
| *The gauge shows low value in general. *When ignition is on, the zero point slips out of position. |
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
| *The ground wire is not properly fixed on the earth. *Any harness wire is not installed properly. |
|
REMEDY
|
| *Extend the ground wire of the power wire and connect it properly
to the battery minus terminal. *Check wiring. |
|
CONDITION
|
| *The warning LED lamp flashes ON at a value different from
the set warning value. *The pointer is showing an abnormal value. |
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
| *Various harnesses are picking up noise from spark signal or wireless radios, etc. |
|
REMEDY
|
| *Reposition the signal wire avoiding noise. |
|
CONDITION
|
| *The warning LED lamp is flashing ON and OFF. |
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
| *There is a wire short circuit somewhere. *There is a wire broken, or disconnected. *Set the wrong cylinders number. |
|
REMEDY
|
| *Confirm that no wires are touching the vehicle body. *Confirm that there are no wire broken or the connectors are not disconnected. *Confirm that the setting of cylinders number is correct. |
|
CONDITION
|
| *Illumination of Defi-Link Meters doesn't go out being interlocked with the illumination switch off. |
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
| *Defi-Link Meters are connected to METER OUTPUT2. |
|
REMEDY
|
| *Connect Defi-Link Meters to METER OUTPUT1. |
|
CONDITION
|
| *Brightness of Defi-Link Meter BF's illumination can not
be adjusted. *Illumination of Defi-Link Meter BF doesn't go on. |
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
| *Defi-Link Meter BFs are connected to METER OUTPUT1. |
|
REMEDY
|
| *Connect Defi-Link Meters to METER OUTPUT2. |
|
CONDITION
|
| *The warning LED of oil pressure meter is lighted and a buzzer sounds when the engine is off. |
|
POSSIBLE CAUSE
|
| *The condition is normal. |
|
REMEDY
|
| *Oil Pressure is 0kPa when the engine is off and the warning LED is lighted and a buzzer sounds. |
